Hargrave Park Primary School

Hargrave Primary School has been a customer of Microcare’s since November 2000 and in December 2011 we started conversations with the business manager – Alannah Chatir looking at how we could upgrade the system to meet the school requirements in the most cost effective manner. We understand fully how important it is to ensure that we listen to our customers and spent time with the school to ensure that the system upgrade was going to be effective, meet their needs and be manageable within the budgets set.

The Project

Hargrave Primary School wanted to upgrade the system due to the old age of their previous system and so we recommended an Avaya IP Office 500 which would allow the school to have voicemail, auto attendant and mobile twinning functions. This would allow parents to report child absences via an automated service and leave messages whilst also allowing the school to manage call flows. The Avaya IP Office 500 system provides a mobile twinning feature for the school caretaker who needed to be accessible around the school.

As part of the ‘Established needs’ report we also discussed their calls and lines contract which was with another provider at the time and asked if we could review the bills and see if we could help save them money.

The Result

Based on the continuous high level of service and the knowledge and experience that Microcare have as an organisation we worked closely with Hargrave primary School and successfully installed an upgrade in 2 days which fulfils all of the schools requirements.

We were also able to offer them 0% finance over 3 years which helped the school significantly from a budgeting point of view.

In conjunction with this we were also able to save them money by saving over £800 a year for 3 years on their bills for calls and lines. This almost covered the cost of the upgrade over the 3 years providing a win win situation to the school.
